I am pleased to report that 2007 is off to a great start!
We are in the process of wrapping-up the membership renewal campaign and I would like to offer many thanks to those of you that responded immediately and processed your renewal for 2007. If you still have yet to renew, please do so without haste, you don’t want to miss out!
The AFMA board has been working since late last year to develop a program for our annual spring workshop. The details are complete and I am officially announcing that registration is now open for this April 26-27 event.
You will find this program to be very informative, especially if you are new to floodplain management. A copy of the spring workshop agenda is available here.
And for those of you seeking to become a CFM, the exam for certification will be administered in the afternoon on the last day of the workshop.
The city of Jacksonville will again play host to our event and you can find information about directions and accommodations on the registration page.
We look forward to seeing you in April! As always, your comments and suggestions are welcome at any time.
